People in the Streets: The Marathon Runners
Following the "peace" protest, 20,000+ people actually hit the streets to compete and participate in the 21st Los Angeles Marathon. 
They not only traveled wide and far to participate, but they also trained for months on end to complete the 26.2 mile trek. One of those athletic superstars was my friend Jess Kronstadt.
And while she tore up the street, I, along with many others, stood by in admiration to cheer, hydrate, and entertain. I have nothing else to write but CONGRATULATIONS on this herculean accomplishment!
